London Fashion Week 2016

#LyfeWatches #LFW

Our Blog is a great way for you to keep up with what is happening in the world of Lyfe Watches. We also want it to be useful for keeping up with what is happening in the wider fashion world, too. It’s London Fashion Week and there will once again be a big wristwatch presence as Swatch will continue to be its Official Partner. LFW is a perfect opportunity to launch new collections and showcase their exciting latest designs that combine Swiss quality in their usual classy colours and styles. This is something you will seeing from Lyfe over the coming years which we are very excited about. We plan to launch new collections at such events and let the world see our commitment to supporting the causes associated to our coloured NATO watch straps. What Fashion Week are saying about wrist watches is great for us - and you.

We love big bold watches. All our NATO watch straps are bold colours. Be sure to expect to see lots of bold colours for the spring summer fashion collections.

The recent New York Fashion week saw Tommy Hilfiger’s decision to use Apple Watches in the event. It showed how well the Apple Watch has been performing as a wearable accessory and its exactly the type of partnership what Apple was aiming at when it created the Apple Watch. With more and more designers focusing on using wristwatches as part of their fashion shows, timepieces are increasingly carving out a piece of runway action.

The "social-media buzz" surrounding the shows plays its part in the customer experience, too. Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter feeds are flooded with images of the collections, so we will be investigating other watches too. Like us, you can watch all the shows from today via this stream: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2016/02/18/london-fashion-week-live-stream_n_9264958.html

At the same time 'Charity Fashion Live' will recreate LFW looks in real time - as they come out on the catwalk, in a charity shop, using only what's there at the time. Oxfam is this year's charity partner for the Charity Fashion Live event. Oxfam is a global humanitarian, development and campaigning organisation working with others to overcome poverty. This is a cause we are very passionate about at Lyfe, and keen to support such charities with donations from purchases of our Green NATO strap.

So for your watch to make a statement, especially if you are wanting something to show you are supporting a worthwhile cause, you know where to go.

Follow the action on twitter via @BFC and@LondonFashionWk, on Instagram /BritishFashionCouncil and join in the conversation #LFW.

More importantly be sure to #LyfeWatches
